Those charging cases have to be plugged in 100% of the time to charge. When I saw the packaging it made it sound like there was a battery inside the case to charge the toothbrush while you travel. Just FYI, I still like the product, just liked the plain cases better.

I bought this as well, but have not opened the box yet. I'm just happy that this is compatible with USB charger.

I've owned 2 Sonicare's in the past and neither made it past a year and a half. I'm into my third year now with my Braun and love it.

I think so. 2 brush handles, and 2 brush heads. So good for 2 people.

My parents bought Sonicare before. And one of the toothbrush broke after a few months. The good thing is they called Philips and they exchanged one for them directly without any charge. What's even better, the new one they received is an upgraded model, so better than the old one. That's why I still decide to go with Sonicare.

Probably you can try calling Philips and still get an exchange. Maybe still under warranty...

I'm actually glad that I can charge with the case instead of having to pack a separate charging base like before. I'm actually buying these in addition to the regular set with the plain cases because traveling with less pieces is just easier.
