Have a love/hate relationship with my 12" miter. Love using it but hate buying blades for it that aren't interchangeable with my table saw.

Why aren't they interchangeable? Arbor or size differences?

10" table saw. Honestly never knew they had 12". Guess me and my 35yr old Craftsman have been living under a rock. Smilie

Once you get it aligned, this Hitachi is awesome! The one drawback is that I wish it was a sliding miter for those few times I really needed it.

Everyone is smart enough to figure out the price without the coupon. I'll just keep deals to myself. I just posted my last thanks to people like you. Took me about 30 seconds to make this deal work. A $299 saw for $159 is a nice deal (except for you). Doesn't work for you, then move on. If I see one of these deals and it is something I want, I try to replicate. If it works, great, if not, I move on. I am at least grateful someone took the time to share.

thanks for this. Wife told me I needed to build shelves for the pantry. I told myself I needed a miter saw. Followed instructions for $40 off $200 and now I have a miter saw and new shelves

^ this right here is what's wrong with America. Always wanting things handed to them on a platter. Get over it and get over yourself.
