It's been my past experience that when flash memory is sold as "refurb", I've ended up buying Somebody Else's Problem.

There ain't no "refurb" to flash. No defective parts to swap out. It works, or it doesn't. If somebody returned it, there was a good reason for it.

A 30 day warranty doesn't inspire confidence in the product.

And if they're getting so many of that model returned that they have enough to list and resell them in their "discount" store, there's probably something wrong with the product.

I agree with your sentiment...I wouldda bought these if they at least come with a full year warranty.

As has been said, there's no refurbing flash memory. The only acceptable reason someone would return them would be buyer's remorse. Or maybe the ol' buy, use for the weekend, return it scam.

This is like buying a used hard drive....maybe even more-so stupid. At something of this price point, no flippin way. Buy new.

I bought a refurb Sandisk sdcard before and have been using it in my DSLR. No issues at all, and I've had it for years now. Like the post above said, most likely it's buyer's remorse or people bought it for one-time use then returned it.

3 reasons to stay away from this:

1. Snadisk often sells same memory (brand new) for about same price
2. One has no way to refurb memory, so it's hit or miss
3. Black Friday is almost here

.

I am still waiting on my order from the 24th of Oct. The earliest it is showing to be delivered is Nov 6th. Not seeing the value here, when new is not much more.

I need to buy a bunch of 32GB microSDHC cards (100) as gift for 100 first customers. I'm wondering if I should go with this or wait for BF for new cards - already have in cart but can't decide. Part of me was thinking, they're not for me to use so who care but then again I don't want PO customers because their free dashcam and memory card stop working.

I bought this from last deal, and didn't work from start. The customer service told me to ship the card back to them with my own expense after talking with them for half an hour. I would stay away from SanDisk Refurbished crap.

number one reason for those returns is slow speed and bad performance. so refurbs is just that. they tested those out and they worked. good deal? nah.

sandisk have amazing customer support but terrible products. their RMA system is a breeze.

I wouldn't. They are stamped refurb right on the cards and your customers will probably think you're a cheap ass.

Not that we all aren't, but you don't need everyone to know it!!

I bought that same deal too but I received a cancellation email yesterday for my two orders. Not saying you will get the same result but don't expect much. And I made my order on Oct 22.

"In regard to your recent order for the following item:
SanDisk Extreme microSDHC UHS-I with adapter- 32GB (2-Pack) (SDSQXNE-032G-ACDAT)

Due to a system inventory error, we are unable to fulfil your order at this time and must cancel your current order. In the event any charges have been processed, we will promptly refund your payment. Please accept our sincere apologies for any inconveniences."
