As good as it gets now.
Samsung says they are ramping up production of desktop RAM chips to take advantage of super high profits they enjoy now. Supply will increase gradually during the first half of 2018, prices "may" go down in the second half.

So basically there's no chance that we'll be seeing anything this low for awhile eh? https://slickdeals.net/e/9707644-16gb-2x8gb-team-dark-ddr4-3000-pc4-24000-desktop-memory-67-50-more-free-s-h?src=SiteSearchV2_SearchBarV2Algo1

You think it's worth waiting for black friday or since it's a supply squeeze, there's simply no benefit?

Ohhh thank you for reminding me about that deal :-) I still have a few 16/3000 sets of Team that I can't part with, like a reminder that prices were that low!
Black Friday may show a few deals but I would not count on it much, from what I have seen whatever deals popup (real deals) have a very small stock and most likely it will be in the same range as this OP - around $130, which is a deal for today. Some price mistakes or Amazon mishaps may lead to a few nice deals as well. The lowest I can find now on an everyday basis is $125 for 16/2400 and $250 for 32/2400, but that supply is also dwindling down.

A few months ago, I got a pair with almost identical specs ofr $85 on eBay after 15 off coupon. Insane that 130 is considered a "slick deal" today.

I have a budget I want to meet and these ram prices are preventing me from building a new computer. I just can't justify the price. I wonder if we boycott ram for 6 months that they'll realize they farked up by price fixing the market.

I rely on buying ram to make a living, so as long as I'm not singled out.... :E

I just want the ram to drop so i can finally buy those corsair rgb modules for less than $200 a piece t.t I need 4, so that's 400 bucks...even i struggle to justify that, and I'm ridiculous. Mad

This might not be a slick deal or an option for some but what I did is kept an eye on microcenter open box ram. I got my evga sc ddr4 3000. They're usually items that have been returned but still carry warranty. Looked brand new but only ran at 2300 ish out of the box. I think that's why it was returned. I enabled xmp and it overclockd to 29xx.
