Amazon currently has several coupons offering 10-15% off Power Stop brake pads, rotors, calipers and complete kits. At least for my application, that brought the price including tax to less than the best deal I could find elsewhere (other Amazon sellers, eBay, Jegs, Summit, etc.) after tracking prices for a few months.

FWIW, I like the Power Stop pads because they cut down tremendously on brake dust, keeping my wheels cleaner. Performance is on par with the originals, which in my case are factory Brembos on a Magnum SRT8. Can't speak to performance on other models or components.

Enter your vehicle info on Amazon or check the Power Stop website [powerstop.com] to find the correct parts for your application.

--

Note: Since it's a percent-off deal, it's impossible to compare and say every set will be a better price than anywhere else, but it's not really "YMMV" since the discount is available across the entire line. If your particular set is cheaper elsewhere, that's awesome. TD if you like, but that's not helpful in letting others know that the deal is available and they should at least check.
If you purchase something through a post on our site, Slickdeals may get a small share of the sale.

I had problems for 2 yrs on my new honda odyssey with oem brakes that just suuuucked and finally threw in the towel and got Powerstops. Yes, I have drilled/slotted rotors on my minivan. And that giant effin' car with 8 people and loaded up with luggage will stop on a friggin' dime. Love it.

Just wanted to give some insight on brakes. Drilled tend to not be so great as they were initially thought to be, mainly for track. They are well known to crack frequently after reasonable amount of track use. For daily driving, they may be excessive. One factor is the loss of surface area, which results in less friction...less braking power. Another consideration is braking temperature/warm up time. Some brake materials basic road driving will not get to the operating temp to experience the benefit.
Then of course there is pad differences. People talking about squeak may be using semi-metallic. Sqeaking is not uncommon and expected. The sacrifice is a pad which lasts longer. Ceramic is nice but cost goes up.
I'd suggest most people do a bit of reading and looking prior to making any major changes from OEM. Sometimes a pad change alone will provide improvement and a brake fluid change as well.
I always support brake upgrade if they are effective, I think brakes still get too overlooked but these days manufacturers seem to be keeping an eye on the customer, but...at a premium cost for a name like Brembo, such as the Scat Packs, STI, 370z and others. Also a final note, again it mightbe excessive for a daily driver, but steel braided lines are supposed to really make a difference in brake feel as well.
Enjoy the upgrades folks!

These are still more expensive than rockauto.com. Even amazon has a hard time beating their prices.

Thanks for the heads up OP! Powerstop Z23s in my size have been OOS on Amazon and I had an email alert set up, but it didn't trigger. Your post made me go look and sure enough, it's in stock now. Looks like the discount works on one item at a time, so if you're buying fronts and rears, make it two separate purchases.

I'm also replacing Brembos, but more for the squeakiness - Charger Scat Pack with 10k miles only and the squeal is driving me nuts. Good to hear that performance is the same, have you experienced noise? (Did you experience noise on your Brembos?)

I almost got these for my Z06. Checked eBay and one seller had one left of both the fronts and rears for at least $10-$15 cheaper per set and with no tax. Next lowest price is higher than Amazon's price with no discount. This is a great deal though!

Z23-1298? If so, same here ('06 Magnum SRT8 with about 35K miles). I'd been watching and waiting for either the $15 off $75 deal to come back on eBay or else an open-box deal via Amazon Warehouse. Then they disappeared altogether (from all sellers!) on Amazon. I kept the tab open and refreshed it every once in a while to see if they had shown up again, and that's when I saw the coupon this morning.

I haven't had any noise issues with the original Brembos (on either car). I haven't installed the Power Stops on the MSRT8 yet (have had the rears for a while but was waiting for a deal on the fronts) but did have them on another vehicle with Brembos and didn't notice any difference from stock except for a lot less brake dust. That's why I need to get these on the MSRT8, but no hurry since it's going away for the winter by Thanksgiving. I'll install them and some other goodies over the winter when I get bored. Smilie

Yup same size, 4-piston fronts were not for sale for some reason. Looking forward to installing these this weekend (god bless same-day Prime shipping) - lots of people on msg boards vouch for these pads to cut down on noise. Thanks again for posting

Thanks, AlpineM3! I didn't notice the others and have now updated the post to include a link to a page with all of the Power Stop coupons, which appear to cover (almost?) everything they sell. Will give you some rep after I submit this reply. Smilie

was unable to get any of the coupons (clipped them ALL) on the K5244 for my '03 Town and Country, so either I stink at doing Amazon, or it doesn't cover quite all of the items they sell.

How are these compared to ThermoQuiet?

Mine are from TQ, and about time for me to replace the front pads. Thanks.

I had my Power Stop rotor and following instruction of how to break in it. It wrapped after 8 months with normal driving. They refuse to warranty it. I will not use it again.
