Be wary that Keybank is one of the worst banks and will nickel and dime you to death and shut down accounts without notice.

Get the bonus and abandon ship

Really? I've used key for about a year, I've never paid a single fee and I even earn money for using bill pay, mobile deposits, atm deposited, recurring transfers, etc. Sure there are fees but they can all be avoided with online statements and direct deposits or transfers, you just have to make sure you read the t&c like almost every other bank

That being said, op should probably update post to say extremely YMMV since this is limited to just 8 markets

I've had a Keybank account, which used to be a First Niagara, which used to be harleysville which I opened by account with. So bear in mind I've had this account for 11 years.

Not until did Keybank take over I got a call weekly about my account over something ridiculous; my pin randomly stopped working on multiple occasions as well, and don't even get me started on their overdraft policy (They deducted money out of my account on accident, which smacked me with an overdraft and negative balance, and then compounded overdraft charges, and I spent 2+ hours fixing it, more than one time this happened).

They eventually said my Squarecash transfers which were between my girlfriend for rent money over 5 years (Before it was even Keybank) classified as business transactions and my account was going to be shut down. I stopped the transfers and 3 weeks later no more account. kthxbye

At this point, I'm surprised banks even bother with real signs at this point :p.. The branches in my area were mainly, Willow Grove Bank > Willow Financial Bank >Harleysville Bank > First Niagara > Key Bank

Not eligible I'm out of market but I actually commute into one of them. Key is my main bank though and switching everything to another bank and back again isn't worth $300, I'll just hit up other bank bonuses as they come up.

FYI though I got the last bonus even though I was out of the targeted market then by going in branch, the banker had to call IT and force it but the wife and I got $600 total out of it then.
