Not sure if this is a good deal or not but for what it's worth the general consensus online seems to be that this is of much higher overall build and picture quality than the Acer Predator X34. It's also 120hz over the 100hz on the X34.

Bought it.

Dell makes amazing monitors, 3 year warranty, GSYNC, high refresh rate, IPS, great stand, and not ridiculous looking.

Yes its expensive, its probably the best ultrawide gaming monitor out there.

I think HDR 200hz monitor coming sometime next year. It will probably be more than 1k though.

Thanks for this thread. This is pretty much exactly what I wanted (>100 hz ultrawide with G-Sync) and I didn't even know it existed until I saw it here. I got one too.

Damn you OP. This will replace my LG 34" UW nicely. Finally time to get Gsync.

Tis the season to go broke!

Yeah which is why it's good this monitor is WQHD (3440 x 1440), and not only 1080p

I still can't believe they can get away with selling a 34 inch monitor at prices like this. This is half the price of my 55" OLED which I guarantee costed three times this to make. Is g sync really that expensive to implement?
