Hey, sorry I guess you guy's are new to Fry's deals and I should have been more detailed. Fry's sends out personal promo codes to those who sign up to receive them. I believe you can still sign up to get today's code.

Can anyone think of a reason to buy from Fry's vs Amazon? Simply comparing companies and their return policy, etc., NOT price/package.

I usually prefer going to a physical store if there is one near me as I don't like to wait for shipping and I can also make sure the box doesn't come damaged. Also makes it easier and quicker to return. And in my experience Fry's is good with returns. Haven't had an issue once.

I check the item in the store and buy at Amazon. I can save 10% sales tax , and didn't see any return and refund issues on Amazon.

Amazon customer service is going downhill dramatically over last two or thread yrs. if you have problems with orders, you are most likely end up finding credit card company to step in. I have lost 2 packages and 3 damages in last year. All end up badly.
They will now doing so called investigation for 2 week. And hope you will forgot, because no one will contact you back for investigation results.
If you did check back, my lost package end up saying I should receive it, and any further action should only between me and carrier.
For Problem order, I returned, but no refund. Again, investigation for over a month with no results.
It's not like this 5yr ago. Now csr can do almost nothing. They are no longer care about customer satisfaction.
I shop for convenient only nowadays.

Yeah that's definitely a good reason to get from Amazon. Unfortunately I live in CA where we do get taxed. Also I didn't mean to say Amazon had bad return and refund issues, just that I can do it easier and quicker with a Fry's store a few miles down the road.
