I bought this at $449 and it's a fantastic little guitar, I've played some Martin's and Taylor's and while it's not quite there, it sounds pretty darned good. I haven't plugged it in yet, but I'm very happy with it.

I would definitely recommend plugging it in...I bought this when it was $500 and the pickup is actually really good, better than the pickup in my GS Mini Taylor. My GS Mini definitely sounds better unplugged but somehow that Fishman pickup in the Fender really sounds good. I guess not a surprise, Fender's definitely a electric guitar company anyhow and even on an acoustic, the pickup is in electric guitar territory.

These have been on sale forever. Did they like make too many of them or something?

You might try installing a K&k pure mini in your gsmini. I love the sound I get out of mine with that pickup (I run it through an LRbaggs Para acoustic DI)

Listed by the same person and all sold from the same store. Same with that Gretsch jet that comes up all the time.

If it's that good, maybe I should buy this guitar, take a couple lessons, quit my job and go be a rock star...🤔

A nice sounding guitar, and with Fender's lifetime warranty, it's hard to go wrong for $399

Why does this keep getting upvoted? A yamaha FGX800C, Takamine GN20CE, Takamine GD30CE are all better buys with natural finishes (not glossy), cutaways, concert style/NEX/dreadnought to choose from NOT parlor size which is even smaller than a concert style and those are already pretty small, mahogany wood, more full sound and timbre. The only thing that's going for this guitar is the preamp, as fishman makes some of the best preamps but even then you should be using studio mics to record. This is NOT for beginners and would recommend you look at the suggested guitars or ones that have a full body and not parlor, as the size limits the projection of the sound and the glossiness can affect it as well. Just replace the strings of aforementioned guitars and you're good to go. Do not buy this you will regret the size.
