Nice deal on a great laptop, but the coupon code doesn't seem to work? It shows it is for an Acer monitor?

Thanks for letting me know. It was a copy paste mistake and I have updated it now.

This Laptop is a great laptop for its price and some way better than the new Dell Inspiron 7000 series with GTX 1060. It has a normal GTX 1060 vs Max-Q in Dell, menas 10% to 12% better performance. Also, the display is G-Sync vs normal 1080P in Dell.
This is also 1 lb lighter than Dell model.

Thanks for updating and I totally agree. Since no tax for Newegg (except CA), this is the same price as the Acer Predator Helios 300 on Amazon right now.

Guys, I don't know much about laptops specs, but I'm trying to get a laptop that can perform nicely in day to days activities and yet be powerfull enough to run one game or two. This is pretty much as far as I wanna go in $, so what do you think? I was looking at a cyberpower and a msi with similar (ish) specs for $1000, but this one seems better. Should I get this or wait a little longer for better BF offers? Thanks!

In your Dell deal you were stating that the 1060 Max-Q GPU in it was almost identical to a regular 1060. Now you're claiming the Max-Q in the Dell has quite a large (double digit percentage) difference in performance. ConfusedConfused

If you want to be a member of this community, don't try to push your own agenda for karma or commission. It's shady and extremely unhelpful to users looking for unbiased information and help understanding a product.

For reference, things you wrote early on in your Dell deal that you posted earlier this week:

And one thing, even being a Max-Q design, this particular model performs very very close to a normal GTX 1060.

This laptop performs almost similar to the a normal GTX 106 6GB because of the solid cooling and thermal design. So performance difference between this one and a GTX 1060 3GB will be almost exactly between a normal GTX 1060 6GB vs 3GB.

For reference, things you wrote early on in your Dell deal that you posted earlier this week:
Since this your first post, I am not going to be rude. The normal performance difference between standard and Max Q design is 11% to 15% most of the times. You can check any benchmarks. The Dell model has maximum 10% to 11% difference when compared to a standard 1060 due to better cooling which is very close to a standard GTX 1060. This has to be there because Nvidia locks the max Turbo Clock speed of Max-Q version to a lower settings than standard 1060 and no way of getting over that.

So, without understanding much of a thing, don't lecture me on being a member of this community because unlike you, I have contributed and contributing a lot way over you can imagine. You could have just asked and I would be happy to explain like I do. But, with a single post and literally no contribution here, don't lecture me about how to be member of this community.
