Still a good price, but should have mentioned it in the subject.

Was looking for that info myself. Couldn't find a definitive answer.

ETA: according to a review here [walmart.com], it's not.

I've been very happy with my Asus RT-N66U for a few years but feel its time to upgrade to AC. Anyone have any experience with this one? Only special functions I use currently is the DLNA/SMB share. Don't see exactly what protocols it supports for attached storage.

Got EA8500 refub from last deal on Linksys.com for $10 more. It was a dead router. Called linksys support and got a brand new replacement after an hour of conversation.
While I have a brand new router, it does not provide as stable internet connection as I had before with Asus router. Wifi coverage is great though.

I was just looking for the same answer. I just pulled the trigger on the Asus AC1900 from the slick deal earlier. Which one is better?

Never going to Linksys again - they are one of the worst and Asus is one of the best as far as routers are concerned.

Fry's Sunday-Saturday ad has a brand new (not refurb) Linksys AC1750 router for $78.99.
Router runs 24x7, and components often wear out in 2-5 years, so new is better than refurb.

This is a real good router. I use it no lag and max range.
