Good deal. This kind of thing rarely goes on sale.

Meh. Definitely wouldn't pay $70.99 for this thing. With many new cases now foregoing 5.25" drive bays altogether, this seems like they are dumping inventory.

Almost bought until reading the reviews of loud fan noise. Cheap price otherwise.

Fan is an 80mm fan. Should be easy enough to replace for a few dollars if the sound bothers you.

I don't know. One reviewer said the fan is not easily replaceable. Another user said they actually replaced the fan but had to turn it down to low for the sound not to be noticeable over everything else. Quieter options not requiring any part changes for $20 or so more. Not sure it's that great of a deal.

Good catch - I would've assumed they'd use a standard connector. I wish Newegg would allow images on reviews. Would love to see what the connector looks like.. I mean, unless they're calling a standard 3 pin fan connector "smaller" compared to say, a 4 pin molex connector. (I find it hard to imagine an even smaller connector) I'll have to open it up when it comes and take a look. Will definitely post pictures and such when I do.

Edit: So I found this one [newegg.com] of theirs as well, which also has an 80mm fan. The connector looks slightly non-standard in casing, but is a standard size and will likely use the same metal tips as any other fan. If that's what I find in this one, it's just a matter of taking a small flathead screwdriver to remove the plastic connector from the 3 pins on the existing fan and replacement fan and putting it on the replacement one. We shall see.

I bought this because my HDD and SSD is always 100+ and I am not sure this will cool off but atleast I can move it away from my GPU. This is Dell T7500, know for poor air circulation. I want to run two GPUs in it.

Huh? It's sata/sas 6gbps for both... It probably even does 12 gbps if you have the proper cabling.
