Home Depot's Makita promotion is back on stock for most of the combinations. It also now qualifies for Makita's $25 off $100, bringing the original price from $399 down to $374.

The base combo XT268T includes Makita's brushless high-torque XPH07 hammer drill/driver and their brushless 3-speed impact driver XDT14 with two 5Ah batteries and single charger.

There are pre-set combinations for the free tool which are between the brushless 4.5"/5" angle grinder XAG04, brushless trim router XTR01, reciprocating saw XJR04, compact reciprocating saw XJR01, 6.5" circular saw XSS02, oscillating multitool XMT03, two-pack 3Ah batteries BL1830b, or jobsite speaker XRM08.

Search Home Depot for XT268 and it'll show all the other combos. Some are going in and out of stock depending on tool availability.

It seems they're out of stock and I'd bet they won't come back at this price because it seems intentional.

It's been in and out of stock. All of these were out of stock yesterday and live chat said the base XT268T was backordered until the 15th, but some of them came in stock today. If one of the items is out of stock, that combo will be, too. I'd check daily to see when the combo you want is back in stock.

I've never seen them actually ever come back in stock. But that's most likely just my luck.

Signs are up in store and this deal is live. In store you can buy the drill/driver combo with two 4 AH batteries and one free tool or the deal from this thread and two extra tools. In my store the 5 AH kit was still in boxes, lost on an end cap.
Free tools to choose from are reciprocating saw, circular saw, oscillating multitool, 2-pack of 3 AH batteries, or angle grinder.

Also the MAKITA 25 off 100 does not stack per hd supervisor

I was just window shopping at Home Depot and trying to keep my wallet in my pants. They had plenty of these kits at the front deals section with the base tools to select two from, depending on your store's stock. It's all sold out online and the base kit isn't eligible for the $25 off $100 promotion, so looks like the deal for $374 online is dead.

But for their high end hammer drill, impact driver, and choice of two freebies at $399, it's still a good deal in store.

The 25 off 100 coupon wasn't activating for me either unless I selected a very specific set of Makita tools. I think it only works on what's listed in the OP.

I have tried most XT268 combo, -$25 all work... By the way, the brushless router is back in stock. So it's possible to make all brushless combo (router + angle grinder), but mine is on the way, cannot change.

*Update*
Actually just confirmed in store as well, the only free tools that are Brushless are the Router and Grinder. I even tried to play dumb putting the brushless reciprocating saw it my cart and checking out but it immediately said it wasn't an option on the register.

So it seems the reciprocating and circular saw are not the brushless models. In the Question and Answer review section someone said they were but the model numbers are for the brush models.

Can anyone confirm?
