Doubtful. Everything I've seen says that samsung and micron are still having production issues and that we shouldn't see prices fall until well into 2018. I ended up getting one now as i have nearly every other part ready to go for a new system, except an SSD. Thanks OP!

I'm building a PC and had several price alerts in PCpartpicker. When I got the alert this morning for this memory, I couldn't believe how cheap it was for name brand 3000 DDR4 memory and not an odd color! So I bought it right away.

Being a Slickdeals newb, I didn't realize I should have posted the deal. Also thinking maybe I got something wrong on this one. Now a couple hours later I see it. Go get this memory before it's gone! With mem prices skyrocketing, this is the best deal I've seen. Thanks to Nutek for teaching me how to do this for next time...

Hopefully this is a sign that ram prices are on their way back down?

This is an excellent price. Good 3000 RAM costs 20% more all day.

Got me a pair. Thanks OP! Now I'm just upset I didn't get that deal last month at Newegg for the CPU and microatx board for 100$... Frown didn't pull the plug because of ram prices.

Starting a new build and my motherboard has this listed as compatible memory:
DDR4 3200(OC)/ 2933(OC)/ 2667/ 2400/ 2133/ 1866
* DDR4 2667 for AMD Ryzen CPU

Can I make these sticks work with the board despite them being DDR4 3000?
