it's so funny that newegg and buydig charge tax in NJ, but aside from one microcenter located hours away, we have no good computer stores like a frys

so those of us in NJ shopping online basically get totally screwed - no local stores, but have to pay tax online.

Looks like Freesync only works from 40-60 Hz on this monitor. https://www.144hzmonitors.com/lis...-monitors/

TN panels are still better and value solution for fast response rate displays. If you want a 4K display with 1ms Response time, that will cost you over $400. And these TN panels are pretty good with good colors and high brightness. Viewing angles are also pretty good, especially horizontally, they are almost as good as budget IPS panels.

These TN panels, eh. I don't want to buy another TN panel again. However, if it's the same price on Amazon, I'd buy it there. Newegg costumer service is good awful compared to Amazon.

Anyone have thoughts on VA panels then? Are those better than TN?

What I understand is that they sit in middle of TN and IPS, but they aren't very successful.

Watch out it is going to be hard to return from newegg if you don't like it. They will charge you restocking fee. also newegg is in scam business

GameSpot just did a review of monitors discussing all these differences if people are interested.
