I would agree on both points. I was debating weather to pony up for a nvme drive or non. Decided to go for it (even at entry level) at this price.

It's the first time I purchased from them, but they have PayPal checkout. And it's the best price I could find for new. Compare to $215+ on Amazon.

Benchmarks show this to be around SATA speeds and not competitive with higher speed drives like the Samsung 960. https://www.anandtech.com/show/10...-review/10

with higher temps that sata also?

Don't do it unless you're ok with losing out on the five year warranty. I just talked to Intel and Superbiiz is NOT an authorized reseller or Intel parts.
