In our bedroom we use the hefty flex bags - 7 day odor control + an arm & hammer stick 'em. It's been flawless so far, and saves money compared to these refills. ($11 at costco that of course is really our kitchen bag supply...)

Just food for thought for those who may be getting into this game

Getting into that game, how do have your setup with those trash bags?

TIA

Simple as possible....I think we actually have a munchkin, but for sure it accepts many competitors. We threw a stick em at the top inside and the flex bag in there. Slide open the top, throw diaper in, close!

With the newborns, 1 bag a week stuffed. Take it out with the trash. Throw another bag in there after spraying with vinegar. Baby is now at size 1 diapers so it's about every 5 days....

Keep it as simple as possible is my advice. Let these fancy trash bags work for you

We just went from using the target brand bags to regular trash bags. The one thing I do is I keep an empty container of the old bags in the top so I can rubber band the trash bag to it. Keeps it from sliding down or anything. Not as handy as using the real bags, doesn't keep the smell down quite as much... but its a whole hell of a lot cheaper.

Trust me...get the hefty bags w/the 7 day guarantee. It's serious business at keeping that funk down.
