1. Current phones are only able to charge from one coil at a time. The phone only charges when the coil is dead center with the coil within the phone. What multiple coils on the charger does is allow your phone more positions to sit and still able to charge. This is because the multiple coils on the charger are in different spots. I.E. The phone isn't center with the top coil, the second coil that's slightly lower will the the one charging, etc.

2. iPhone Xs can only charge at 5W right now. They have plans to allow charging at 7.5W in the future (with an update). So all the fast chargers and 10W chargers are only able to achieve that on the Android phones with fast wireless charging. Once you put your iPhone X on one of these chargers, it lowers the amperage to 1 amp (5W).

Yes, it's fast charging; however, I prefer 5W wireless charging. It charges fully in 4-5 hours, which is fine while I sleep.

Is it a good deal? This is the lowest price I can find for a Qi charging stand from a not-bad brand.

I did some research and found "Output: 10W (max)". Is it fast enough for a Qi wireless charging? Any advice pleasenodnodnodnod

So issues with this 1) the usb connector is on the side, not the back like you'd expect from a stand and 2) looks like charging indicator arrow is under the phone? How is this a good idea? Can anyone disprove the charging indicator thing?

Wouldn't you just look at the power indicator on your phone to see if it is charging? The wireless charging stand I have (a TYLT from a few years ago) has no lights whatsoever. You know it is charging by looking at the phone display so I imagine that would work for this.

Oh and the USB appears to be on the side so you can use it totally flat (not up at an angle). If the port came out the back it wouldn't lay flat. Actually, seeing the totally flat orientation inspires to see what cool desk surface or 3-d designed pad I could print to go around it. Incorporate it into a desk organizer maybe....

Thinking about getting this for iPhone X. Someone mentioned 3 coil chargers and that this isn't one. Can someone explain ?

Also once Apple increases the charging speed will this support it?

The reviews arent favorable. I just got a Note 8 and I am looking for a solid case that will still allow me to use a wireless charger and there doesnt really seem to be any of them that hits it out of the park
