Home Depot is rolling out a bunch of good deals for the holiday season, the put everything on special as supposed "gift ideas." All the holiday deals can be found right as you walk in to the store. This particular drill combo caught my eyes as I've been trying to pick up a professional quality drill for under $150.

Interestingly the are currently selling the same kit but with a hard plastic case for $199.99. I'll take the duffel bag keep the $80+tax in my pocket.
Costs 170.00 on Amazon with the plastic case
Or on CPO Milwaukee it's 169.99

comes with only a 2.0ah battery but it's the brushless model so it can make the most of it.

Don't compare ryobi to Milwaukee.

That said the brushless combo is always going for $200 meaning you'd get the impact plus another battery for 80 more. Easily the better deal and not even a sale

Ya that's $280. The drill by itself with a battery and charger is a good deal for $120. I personally already have an impact wrench. And I sure others out there are looking for a solid drill.

The M18 fuel version is a hammer drill only. If you drill into concrete or masonry that's what you want. I work at a car dealer and I don't need to hammer down on someone's trunk while drilling holes for a spoiler.

False information.

The current gen M18 Fuel drill is available in a non-hammer version: https://www.milwaukeetool.com/pow...ss/2703-22

However it looks like the M18 fuel hammer drill does not have a selectable drive mode...hammer or nothing on that one. Didn't realize that. My M12 Fuel hammer drill has 3 modes...screw (with clutch settings), drill, or hammer drill.
