They aren't supporting this phone anymore... Does that mean the offline storage is gone too? My daughter needs a phone for byo device and was wondering if this is a good option? I'd probably be better off with an old iPhone from Walmart though...

Their website says support ended August 1, 2017.

It's got nice specs if you don't mind flashing custom ROMs.

Without an SD card slot and with the cloud storage dead this phone won't work for me. Otherwise for $100 It would be a good choice to use while waiting for V30s to drop in price.

Looking forward to picking up the Essential or Razor phone next year at this price.
Oh I wish the razer will get close to this but I doubt it'll get less than 350.

I got one when it was $109 a few months ago and it's okay. Tbh, you can get similar day to day performance from something like a Moto E4 that also has better battery life and a warranty for a fraction of the price. There are better options out there at $100 or less.

would you say the E4 is a better phone?

IMO, yes. E4 has better battery life, better fingerprint sensor, SD card slot, a warranty and it will continue to get security updates, if not Android 8. The only advantages the Robin has is 32GB internal storage and a USB-C port. An unlocked E4 costs a bit more than $100, but it also supports both CDMA and GSM carriers, which the Robin does not.

That review goes over a lot of the features. Like the kifbunk guy says, there are a lot of advantages to the E4 over this. If you want a wi-fi device and you want to tinker, that nextbit is probably pretty good.

You can get the Moto E4 Verizon variant for $40 and unlock code for $2 and change on ebay and use it on most GSM networks. Great phone, nice screen, good battery life, great fingerprint scanner (doubles as a mini track-pad), camera is so-so, halfway decent in good light, not so good in low light. Do a Moto E4 search for more info.
