IMO, yes. E4 has better battery life, better fingerprint sensor, SD card slot, a warranty and it will continue to get security updates An unlocked E4 costs a bit more than $100.
buy from AMZ for less w/ Amex promo

The only advantages the Robin has is 32GB internal storage and a USB-C port. An unlocked E4 costs a bit more than $100, but it also supports both CDMA and GSM carriers, which the Robin does not.
Agree. Been using the Moto E4 and loving it, 16gb is a limitation but hasn't affected me yet. it's suprisingly snappy and reception has been good with mint sim for me

note I'm using the $40 5" version Verizon from Walmart, unlocked via eBay for $2.30

I removed all the Verizon crap using adb shell and also enabled full immersive mode

Own this phone for more than 5 months... i like the design and interface. It serves best for me as i m not much game player.. Use this only for FB, chat, camera, browsing and email purpose. The only drawback i see is the battery which would drain a little bit faster compared to modern phones. But, at this price its good deal...

Without an SD card slot and with the cloud storage dead this phone won't work for me. Otherwise for $100 It would be a good choice to use while waiting for V30s to drop in price.
The cloud storage still working, but who knows for how long

Interesting. So Razer's $700 phone that just came out could be related to this company's $300 phone? That could kill any potential interest I had in the earlier's phone, and brand.

As a owner of this device for 6+ months, I will just say "this is the best $100 phone ever".

It's original price was $399 but soon, the company was bought and they no longer plan to maintain the cloud support or release new versions, which made the price fall to $100. The device is pure android, lightning fast, and its fingerprint is super accurate. The body looks cheaper plastic, but it still feels very light, and does not acquire any scratch or crack when it falls. No SD Card support but the 32GB is more than enough for me, thanks to the free storage by Google Photos. If you want a cheap, value-for-money phone or a decent-temporary smartphone, this is it.

Edit: I totally hate the speakers, even at highest volume I sometimes feel its insufficient (like another user commented below).

I was going to disagree with you since the Robin has an SD 808, but then thought, "Nope, he's right."

It's sad how fast this phone has fallen. I wasn't a huge fan of it either and the battery isn't good, though it does have NFC. The plastic build failing is overhyped, so what really bothered me was having to click the fingerprint reader to make it read and how tall it us for the 5.2" (?) Screen.

Those who buy it, the Tudia case on Amazon blocked Android pay from working, so FYI.

Pretty good phone. 1080p screen, good battery life, good processor. Only downsides - speakers not so good, camera ia bad, and the GPS is slow to catch on. Sometimes WiFi connections are bad on these.
