Help choosing between OLED & QLED

3 10 November 6, 2017 at 09:29 AM
I'm going to buying either a 55" OLED or QLED tv black friday & am placing it in a "man cave" that's just a bedroom but I'm primarily going to be playing video games on it & watching movies occasionally. I love the OLED but the potential burn in worries me, even though they have a pixel refresh on it. The QLED has burn in guarantee & am leaning toward that just for the peace of mind. Anybody else have experience with the 55" OLED avoiding burn in after extended ownership of the unit?

I know your new to slickdeals roughly and just want to notate almost every single oled post has a conversation about led and oled and the Benefits to each. Also want to notate rtings.com goes into some detail on both, overall oled has great ratings and reviews. Lg warranty may be crap based on a lot of slickdealer comments but overall there are other companies that can extend warranties for a price so take that into consideration like Costco has a good warranty program. If you really want more info feel free to post in a oled conversation area since a question is not a slickdeal, but a waste of time for many slickdealers who have notifications on alerts for oled or even xled which is really just led with a glorified marketing plan based on much slickdealer knowledge.
