Is that a deal breaker? Are there cards with better GPU coolers for the same price?

You could go for this one:
https://slickdeals.net/f/10694528-gtx-1060-3gb-185-ar-b-h-evga?v=1&src=SiteSearch

This website reviewed the EVGA as a fairly cool card at 73 degrees C even after overclocking:
https://hothardware.com/reviews/e...iew?page=6

This website reviewed the ZOTAC and it seems to run comparatively hotter at 80 C:
https://www.techpowerup.com/revie...GB/33.html

If you have a small system you might want to compare the dimensions of both the EVGA and ZOTAC. However, the EVGA appears to be the superior card.

I would consider it a deal breaker, because we've seen heatpipe cooler version of the 1060 3gb for $190.. which is only $2 more than this.

I have a 6GB version of this card in one of my machines, and the fan is starting to make noise. I can RMA it, but does anyone know if there's a 3rd party fan option I can pick up to replace it myself?

Not good for ethereum mining, in case anyone is thinking of that. The Ethereum DAG is over 2GB now, making 2GB cards completely worthless for ethereum, and soon 3GB as well. Not sure about other cryptos.

The manufacturers know what they're doing. Grab the cheapest card and save your money.
