If you want just the game, great but be aware this doesn't include the steel book case or any manuals... At least according to their website

Thanks OP! Been wanting this game for a long time but couldn't stomach the prices for a used copy.

Also picked up a copy of Super Mario Galaxy 2 refurb for only 10 bucks. Comes with case but no manual.

Thanks OP. Been on an original Wii game kick lately. I have the first Metroid Prime on GameCube still, but can't really beat this price for the whole package.

It's Nintendo refurbished. Unless it's in perfect shape, it won't pass their QC. It's a way for them to sell open boxed games.

Also, this game is still trading in for about $15 at GameStop.

This has been pretty pricey for some time now. Another Nintendo game that stopped being printed before its time so the price went up. They usually go for around $30 in a case at the very least.

Fun fact about these, the trilogy is one of the few double layer discs that came out, so a lot of people end up thinking the game is broken when their dirty Wii laser can't read it. . It also means you almost can't refinish the disc at all if it's scratched. Usually if you find a copy on Ebay that's "not working" it's really just not working in a particular person's system. That's how I got my collector's edition for $20.

Anyways, as others have said Nintendo refurbs are as good as they come so I don't think anyone has to worry here if they want to pick up these before Metroid Prime 4 comes out in the coming years. Though I fully suspect that in the Switch version you'll be using controls more like the Gamecube versions - or maybe even a push toward modern console FPS controls.... who knows.
