This is based on reading through the replies of the hundreds of LG OLED65B7A threads. Of course this is YMMV and subjected to change.

Price Protection:
Chase: TVsuperstores.com approved, ExpressTVs.com approved, BuyUSA.com denied (because it was a wholesaler site requiring you buy in bulk).
Discover: BuyUSA.com approved, TVsuperstores.com denied (because a free wall mount with the TV) one guy say he was approved after he send in a screenshot without the free wall mount showing so YMMV.
Citi: TVsuperstores.com approved, BuyUSA.com approved, ExpressTVs.com denied (because their contact page is blank). One reply said they were approved so YMMV.
Wells Fargo Visa Signature: BuyUSA.com approved
No one has posted a PP to this retailer yet: tvsdailydeals.com $1,749.00 on 11-26.

Anyone who's had a different result feel free to post that information here.

Citi - ExpressTvs got approved. It took almost 3 weeks though.

This appears to be the lowest price so far. I need to upgrade from C65 for this model.
so why not frontpage?

Seller has sold Mac Book Pros at 2500+ in the past 6 months with positive feedback.
Plus, eBay protects your purchase anyhow with their Money Back Guarantee. Not sure why all the thumb downs, but so far it's the cheapest advertised price I've seen on the 65 inch and 100 cheaper than I paid 2 weeks ago.
I thought you got a price rewind, was that rewind price for $100 more than this price?

I purchased a couple weeks back when it was listed at 2200. I got 500 off 2200 when I did the price rewind (1700)
I did get 100 ebay bucks though which I can use starting January (there was a ebay bucks promo for several days in October.

Watching it now. Fantastic value, paid similar slightly higher price. Moved up from 55" Lg LED. The OLED is beautiful and I sit less than ten feet from this one and it's just fine.

probably not. this is sell down season, the 2018model is around the corner, once the 2017 models are gone, there gone. This isnt like a progression of normal pricing, this is just closout.

We saw very nearly an identical progression a year ago on the B6A, we'll probably see the same on the B8A.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking too. I guess maybe if I waited another year or two, OLEDs will inch downward in price.

How does the ebay seller get away with listing 1 year LG warranty, when it's very, very likely they won't honor the warranty as result of it being non-authorized seller.

According to several other posts, LG warranty is valid regardless of the seller. Do a search and you'll find these discussions.

I actually chatted with LG support, they said if the tv's serial number is not in their computer, they will not honor the manufacture warranty, as well of a warning regarding buying from unauthorized merchants.

Does anyone expect that we could see these drop another $100 for BF, or do you think we've bottomed out?

Because it's a bait and switch shop which you exclusively use to get a PP from your credit card company.

Yes, and the serial number being in their system seems to depend on it being a US model...NOT based on who sells it. That being said, an Authorized Dealer should always sell a US model where grey market is a gamble.
