Thanks, OP. Down to $2.99 for me w/Prime. After $1 digital credit from shipping slower, one buck each is pretty great.

not a great deal. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product..._i=desktop is cheaper per piece. Good stocking stuffer idea.

Terrible whistle. Get a FOX40.

FYI - I'm a professional and NCAA Soccer referee.

As long as it's extra loud, I guess I'll bite. I can just give to somebody else's kids bc mine do not need this!

Quote from BuyandFlip
:
Which is the whistle that is used by the NFL is made out of steel not aluminum?
"The only metal whistles manufactured in the United States are made of brass (an alloy of copper and zinc); the fact that they are nickel or chrome plated gives rise to a common misconception that they are made of steel. Brass is used because of the same tone and resonance qualities that make it effective in musical instruments. Because brass is a relatively expensive metal, these whistles sell for about $3. [...]Because metal whistles are hard and subject to temperature fluctuations in very hot or cold weather, rubber mouthpieces are manufactured as an optional accessory." [1][2] "The vast majority of NFL refs use the Fox 40 Classic Whistle [which is plastic], which gets as loud as 115 decibels; that's loud enough for the entire stadium to hear without amplification for over a mile away." [1][3]
