Important to note that the promo code has to be entered in lower case. It is case sensitive.

When I've checked the website, I've never been completely clear on who is and isn't allowed to sign up. My dad is a retired Navy vet. Can somebody please let me know if he's eligible to shop through here?

Yes, retirees, and now even honorably discharged veterans are allowed to shop online.

Active duty military members, Guard and Reservists, military retirees, 100 percent service-connected disabled veterans and their dependents are all able to shop in-store as well if you have proper IDs.

Thanks! We were surprised that the registration only was last 4, last name, and birthday, but I guess they have ways of knowing if you're on 'the list'.

Not a vet nor am I interested in this deal, but a) thanks for your service everyone, and b) this is pretty cool that this site seems to be so accessible for vets, at least it will be soon for some. I will have to pass this along to a friend.

Not sure why you're frustrated or surprised, AAFES made it pretty clear the 11th is when all vets would have access. I'm just grateful they changed their policy at all.

I agree. It was a great policy change. It just seems like others have received early access? Maybe I missed something. I know retirees and high rating disabled have always had access.

Early access was granted at random and only given to a select small percentage for testing purposes (sort of like a closed beta program). As intended, most will be eligible until the 11th. Don't feel bad, it's just a few more days and the Exchange is having a really damn good sale this Veterans Day weekend.
