Amazon has their Fire HD Kids Editions on sale. 32gb 8" for $89.99 and 16gb 7" for $69.99. Lowest price so far for these.

The 7" is coming up as a deal of the day so looks to be good only today, November 7. The 8" does not show up as a deal of the day, but I would assume it is the same. Also, these are full fledge 7" and 8" Fire HD tablets, so if you get the 8", you'll get the equivalent of a HD 8" 32gb without special offers which is normally $124.99.

EDIT: Also available at Best Buy for their daily deals. https://www.bestbuy.com/site/prom...blets-sale

Nice unit. Suspect there will be good deal all through Christmas on these but for one unit this a quality product. Thinking of getting the 8" for my wife to watch movies.

Not a bad idea. Doesn't have any of the special offers stuff which saves you money and headache. And if it ever breaks in next two years, you're covered.

Good deal. Same price as Target will be on BF and $10 cheaper for each than the deal that was posted on 10/22. I'm considering the 32GB HD 8 for my kid, but I was thinking the same thing as OP on the comparison to the HD 8 without special offers for $124.99. Might even be able to recoup another $10 or so by selling the case if you wanted to go that route and put in that amount of effort.

I agree. I'm shocked there isn't way more interest.

The best prior deal on this was the 2-pack for $150. I think the cheapest for a single was $89.99.

Same price at Target looks like. Cheaper if you use your red card.

It's typical for Amazon deals on their own hardware to be mirrored at resellers. Best Buy is doing it also. As lazaa0002 stated, if you use a Prime card then it wouldn't be cheaper, plus I find Amazon much easier to deal with in case there are issues with your order. Then again, that could be the thousands of orders I have greasing the wheels.
