Bought this monitor in 2015
Still going strong. Colors are better than my Asus PG34Q Smilie

Very tempted, newegg has reasonable international shipping and good price even without the 10% coupon. I'm travelling and won't be able to really use it until around xmas, should I wait for bf deals or will this size/resolution not get much cheaper?

Frys had the 29UM68 for like $175 for Black Friday last year. Better specs than this one, has FreeSync. I'm still loving it.

Thinking of grabbing two monitors for the home office and trying to have it mounted with stand, not sure which is better this vs 29" LG from new egg. https://slickdeals.net/f/10746495-29-lg-29ub55-b-ultrawide-2560x1080-5ms-ips-led-monitor-w-built-in-speakers-180ac?src=SiteSearchV2Algo1. Price difference is $50/monitor more for 29", considering no tax on newegg.com. Can someone suggest the better one?. Thanks.

Go with a 34" wide. You'll thank me later. 29" isnt that big of a jump in real estate to justify the added cost. With a little extra money, the 34"( and bigger) gives you that sweet spot and vertical real estate. I know many people who returned the 29" and upgraded to a 34"or larger.

Got this monitor on Black Friday 2015 for 175 AR and it was awesome then, but now I want to sell it and get something else. I would definitely not buy this monitor today. This monitor is outdated and not worth the money in 2017. If you care about gaming this has no Freesync and if you don't, you should go with a 4K monitor instead and get way more screen estate.
