I could see spending this much on a TV if it came with a ten year warranty... Just so much money though.

I pulled the trigger. Sick of waiting. Now I'm nervous.

Ditto, looking for a 65" b7a around $2K that's not from an eBay re-seller ... waiting too...

$2500 is a little out of my price range, but this is a good deal.

I'm in the same boat haroonie. Can't justify spending $500 more on the c7p just for better sound since I already have front and rear speakers and rarely/never utilize TV sound. But also weary of buying the b7a on Ebay. $2000, +/- $100 seems like the target price point to pull the trigger from a non-Ebay LG authorized seller.

Beach Camera/BuyDig regularly have the B7a listed for 2100-2150. With PP, you can get that down to 1600-1650.

Sounds like all the "authorized seller" stuff is just messageboard drama. Unless it's truly an knockoff set, can't see LG not supporting their product.

Looks like both sites are at $2600 right now. Will keep watching. Others have referenced call in prices with these sites...can anyone elaborate how that works?

Check fleabay. 55E7P's are 1850 today. Yesterday there were some at $1700. but they're gone. Haven't checked 65" prices.

Edit: just checked, they're 2550 on ebay too.

You call them, ask for the specific price quoted, they sell you a TV.

Search the forum for past deals. They may honor them.

PM sent. But for all other people that see this, first step is to ensure your credit card of choice actually offers Price Protection.

As far as I'm aware, Chase freedom, freedom unlimited, sapphire preferred & sapphire reserve cards all offer it.

SOME Citi cards offer it. I say SOME because there are cards like the Best Buy RewardZone card that are Best Buy branded, but Citi issued, and they do NOT offer Price Proteciton (Citi calls it Price Rewind). I think the card has to be a Citi branded card to have Price Rewind.

Also, some discover cards offer this feature as well.

From what I've read, people have the most luck with Citi and Discover getting their claims accepted, whereas Chase has been a little more strict lately, but there is still a good chance you will get it accepted with Chase. I personally got mine accepted with Chase in August with no issues at all.

They were asking about the BuyDig/Beach Camera call-in pricing.

Right, I was referring to jishman. He quoted my previous post about PP, asking how it works.
