If they truly wanted to celebrate they would give their current customers this offer and make it rain in free Apple TVs and Roku Premiers for new customers.

Or they could improve their piss-poor customer service.

I watched games on CBS, FOX, ESPN and for the most part no issues. Occasionally it will buffer a times during a game for a few seconds but recovers on its own.

IMO DirecTVNow offers the best plans and has the slickest interface. Unfortunately, I was never able to watch it during prime time with 200mbps cable internet. Constant buffering. Have not had that problem with sling or PlayStation Vue. As soon as DTV fixes the mess, I'll gladly pay for the service without any promo. At least I was able to get a refund on my prepaid.

Have had since day 1. Love and hate it. LOVE the price I got in on ($35/month forever for their good package). Hate the app on Apple tv, it's finicky as all hell, no dvr, constant little issues. It's a battle but usually works when I need it to.

My internet has a 25 MBPS download speed. I had SlingTv but on several occasions when I watched sports I had buffering problems. Never had an issue with Netlix or any other. Thinking about switching to Directv and try it....anyone have any experience with similar internet speeds watching sports?

Wait how? I can't watch any NFL games on direct app (not direct now). Why do they block NFL games from smartphones or tablets ? But i can watch it from TV at home ? I thought the purpose of Directv now or Direct app is so we can watch it on the go / remotely
Any workaround or alternatives to watch live sports on local channels from smartphone ?
