I upgraded to the K830 from K400 because I wanted the illuminated keys. I find the track pad to be too smooth which makes two finger scrolling difficult because it'll go from not registering the scroll down to flying to the bottom of the page. It takes some getting used to but I honestly preferred the K400's track pad better (GF does too). That's my only real gripe though. It's much heftier and premium feeling to the K400 with the added benefit of being rechargeable. The reviews say the charging port is still poorly engineered - have not had it long enough to comment but I've been cautious when plugging it in.

With all that wall of text I will say it's worth every bit of the $40. Hope I helped.

As part of their early Black Friday sale, Best Buy has their Logitech mice on sale for 8.99. This includes the M325, M319 & M325c models. Assorted colors are available.

Note the M325 has the Unifying receiver, the other models do not.

Does it actually have a receiver or is it Bluetooth only? I'm getting it to use with my steamlink but the BB add is confusing (why would a Bluetooth keyboard come with a receiver?)

I have K830, and I use the receiver to pair to my TV which doesn't have bluetooth, and I also have it paired to living room PC which DOES have bluetooth, so it does indeed have both and for me at least it is useful. Also, I find that receiver based connection has fewer problems, so if I only needed one connection and could choose, I would pick receiver based over bluetooth, it is nice to have that option.

EDIT: Interesting things happen when my HTPC is running while I am also using TV apps, but that only happens on accident.

The Pro Stream Webcam looks exactly like a C922, but the C922 on their website is still full price and they have different model numbers and SKUs.

Anyone have any more details on the webcam?

How's the mouse track pad, accurate and easy to use? My IOGear htpc keyboard is on its last legs, has a trackball for the mouse but they don't make em anymore and this looks like a nice replacement

I have had the K400 for a few years, really great small keyboard. Maybe changed the battery twice. It is small, and the right shift key is miniature. I have mostly used it with my PS4 the last year or so. I thought it died last week but there is a small on/off switch on the top. Perfect for a HTPC setup or something, but a little small to do a lot of typing on.

bluetooth is so unreliable it's crazy, i keep on paring/un-paring bluetooth things in my house hold to get things working.
would much much more prefer the usb receiver.
funny thing will happen if u put your HTPC in airplane mode by accident....then u have to find a physical keyboard to get it going again,

It's pretty good! Good texture to make mousing smooth, and good enough clicky buttons. The one thing that is a bit tricky is that my TV is 4k, and the trackpad is fairly small because the keyboard is small. What happens is that if I lower DPI it takes forever to get from one side of the screen to the other, but if I increase DPI, then it is hard to be precise. I have gotten it to a good enough place, just the price of being compact... and defining mouse acceleration as absolutely evil.

Chiming in saying I love my K830 for my home theater. Great signal with the receiver, plugged in to my htpc or chromebox for plex. Battery life is great, lasts for months! I am pretty good about shutting it off after use.

I'm actually half tempted to pick up another as a spare for $40...
