Read some of the user reviews for the Arlo Pro 2 in some area worst then Arlo Pro. Night vision, battery life and 2 way speaker are worst. 1080p not that much improvement over 720p. And the extra functions for the Pro 2 need to plug to the outlet to take advantage. For $300 less i think the Arlo pro is pretty good deal.

Go with 2 separate accounts (2 base stations) on 2 different e-mails and than give one account (e-mail) admin permissions on the other account to avoid monthly fee.... 1-5 cameras is free service 6+ costs a monthly fee.

Arlo Pro, not Arlo Pro 2 - Arlo Pro 2 is still rather pricey imho ( 2 camera kit + base for $480 )

I need a 6 camera package. How easy are these to steal if mounted outdoors?

Easy if you use the included magnetic mount. Much more difficult if you use the optional outdoor mount.

depending how you mounted them. if you use the screw on mounts, it would take a couple of minutes. if you use the magnetic mount, it will take a second.

this also depends on height of install

As easy as you allow it to be. Put them up high if you're concerned about theft.
