Good deal. They're light but they only last 3 hours or so for me which can be a pain. The extra battery adds like 2 or 3 hours but it's also key to charging it. If you lose it you're screwed. Nice find though.

Do you have issues with the controls annoying you or slipping since its heavier on one side?

Not at all, at least certainly not without the battery. If you mean with the battery it's still minimal. You'll feel it for sure but it's more of a mental thing. I use a behind the head set up, controls are on the left side and the clips give you the ability to tighten or loosen the length while wearing them if you like it snug. The ear plugs are great BUT the foam (squishy material) ripped apart easily and don't want that in my ear. I had to switch to the regular silicon? Material that they come with.

I like these while using them, but I don't like how easy they fall of when I'm not.
Here's what I mean, If I am out with the family, say at Disneyland, It's hard to use them as a hands free device because i don't want them in my ears when not on a call, but then they tend to fall off the neck, so you've got to put them in your pocket, then it's a hassle to pull them out each time, or in time... if that makes sense.
On the other hand, if you're alone or watching a movie while in line, they're great, except when the batteries die.

Not sure what you mean. They come with a clip to attach to your shirt so they don't fall off

I use mine for 7 hrs a day. 4 hrs on regular battery and then 3 on the backup.
And they block out most noise in this loud warehouse i work in.

I owned it for about 6 months. To be honest, it's really hard to get it fit into my ear no matter how i adjust it😥. And you are right the right side constantly slipped since it's heavier. And the sound quality feels like a 10 bucks that u can buy from Amazon. Ever since, always thought jaybird is overpriced

Great deal on these. Looks like the special edition isn't all black though, which some might like. I guess it also guarantees a newer production earbud, which is good for the battery. Question is, buy these for $50 or wait for Costco Black Friday for $70 since theirs come with an extra battery clip and the awesome Costco return policy.
