Entry level TV, but it's a Sony, and it's a good price. Decent review on rtings also.

I think I'll be spending $100 more and getting the Vizio M70 from Costco, which will be $1299 for BF.

Also Vizio does not have built-in tuners anymore, they call it tuner free display but not TV.

True, but probably 1% of people use the TV tuner anymore. You only need it with an antenna at this point. If you have a cable box, satellite, DVR, anything, you aren't using the TV's tuner. And even if you DO need a tuner, you can buy a box for peanuts and connect it.

If you're waiting for a 75" 4K to go on clearance let me help save you guys some time. It's more likely to happen now more than ever before. But the truth is 75" TV's almost never get listed in Black Friday ads. And if it does get listed you're still paying a pretty penny for those extra 10". Every year TV's have become less expensive and your best cost to benefit ratio is going to be seen in the 65". If you want 75" just be ready to pay for it. Though on a side note I really hope we see some 75" 4K name brands on Black Friday. So God if your out there... please hear our prayers.

100% agree with you... But Sam's club now has the 75" 4K LG on sale for $1498 (Model# 75U5657A) I might pull the trigger on that one

The worst parts of the this TV: viewing angles and HDR peak brightness. HDR is the one that concerns me since it doesn't get anywhere close to the peak brightness of most masters (based on that linke).

Their entry level E series is shyte. M and P series are where the quality kicks in with full dimming LED panels.

I have the 1080p 65" M series from the BF deal 2 yrs ago and going solid without a single issue to this day. Funny its a 120Hz native panel where as all their 2017 models are 60Hz (only the P is 120 native now).

I'm torn between this and the Vizio M70-E3 at Costco BF ($1299). RTings rated this better than the entry level E series BUT LOWER than the M series . The M series is more comparable to sony 850E series.
