I missed out on the sale you mentioned, so I plan to take advantage of the OP's deal.

Onkyos are huge in size, and I saw some comments that there were breakdowns. However, these specs are unbeatable far as I can see. No other deal is covering so many HDMI and so much WPC at 6 or 8 ohms. Can someone who has used Onkyo help me? Please comment on reliability and audio performance. Thank you.

I held out on the Veterans Day sale but instantly regretted once it went back up in price. I plan to take advantage of this sale.
I had the 575 until the house was struck by lightning sending the surge through the coax and into the cable box then into anything that was attached to an hdmi input.
It's a great unit and I really enjoyed the WiFi / internet features. I like the app too though it doesn't have the best reviews on Apple store.

I have had an Onkyo TX-NR626 for close to 3 years now with zero problems. Great sound for my home theatre!

I'd avoid Onkyo. I've had two fail.
