$7.99 a month.

The current deal is 17/month with 7/month in bill credits.

for new accounts. Otherwise $17 a month.

Th BF deal says nothing about new accounts/lines. $7.99 either way. And the wording on the terms lend towards reduced price = lower payments, and not bill credits. Important if you are not going to stick around for the two years.

I hate bill credits....it's worst than a contract,...at least with a contract, we could get out of it when they made changes that empty our pockets...

How true. At least it won't be the worst kind of bill credits (if any), those on trade ins. These are like we are financing Big Red's used phone enterprise.

For those considering leaving Verizon in the near future, this phone is universally unlocked--meaning its good on every US carrier. You could get this phone on VZW, pay it off, and take it to Sprint BYOD free year, for example.
The only other one's on sprint's approved list are the the pixels and iphones.

Furthermore, if you were one of the last ones to sign up for a 2 year contract with VZW, and are faced with an ETF ($350 still for me). . .if you buy a phone with payments such as this one from BB, they will cancel out the ETF!!!

We left VZW for sprint this week, other than a dummy line, which is waiting for a deal like this to get out of VZW cleanly, and have a sprint ready phone to take with me as well. All for $150 or so cheaper than just walking away with an ETF.

It's also funny what makes us excited today wouldn't have even made me look in years of past. Just checked my BB order history, and I have 2 flagship smartphone purchases each of the last 8 years, and they were all $1.08 after tax. I miss the old 2 year contracts more than the grandfathered unlimited I just gave up.
