Heads up: if you are using this for 4K video, please know that it has an issue with overheating and shuts itself down. Even after the Sony firmware update it will still do it within about 10 minutes of use. The 6500 does not have this issue at all, but it's a few hundred dollars more.

This is a super small camera and shoots wonderful photos though!

Based on A6000, it has more:
1. Eye AF (The best Feature ever in all cameras)
2. 11 FPS (same as A7R3, which is a $3200 camera)
3. 100 % Silent shutter (Baby and pets will not even notice that you are taking phtots. perfect for Wedding as well.)
4. 14 bit Raw file (Compressed)
5. 4K video (From 6K, quality better than $3000 camera--A7S2, also slog-2 , but only takes about 20m max at once, cuz the overheating)
6. and more.

Recommend Lens:
1. E18-105mm F4 $600
2. E16-70mm F4 $1000
3. FE70-200mm F4 $1300
4. FE85 F1.8 $600

To contrast, I have had this camera for travel and videography for about a year, and I suppose it can overheat- but definitely not within only 10 minutes of use (in my personal experience). At worst in a 100 degree day during summer it can last at least 15-20 minutes before the system temporarily shuts itself down to cool off prevent internal damage... I realize it is still a very short timeline but 10 minutes makes it sound unusable. In more optimal circumstances, it will last you a reliable 40-60 minutes. I've had it shaded away from the heat of Vegas during late summer recording 4k footage for almost an hour on multiple occasions.

So yes, it can overheat quickly, but in the proper setting it will perform just fine. So unless you need to record more than an hour of footage at 4k quality, I'd save a couple hundred dollars and opt for this great deal.

Deal Alert cut off at "Kit $99" and was overly excited. Good deal though.

Probably

But not everyone knows all the sensor sizes for all the mirrorless cameras... All of Sony's a6*00 or a5*00 are APS-C.

best buy comes with 32GB U1 speed sd card, no extra battery
This one comes with 64GB U3 speed sd card, plus extra fw50 battery

Also, I recommend A6300 body, only costs $828. also comes with 64GB U3 speed sd card, plus extra fw50 battery

55-210mm, and 16-55mm, Not recommended.

Welcome to SD. And that may have just been my luck on the camera. I was using it for shoots (interviews) with clients and I couldn't have a camera shutting down while I was using it. It was super embarrassing for me. It all depends on your needs and it is still a great deal with this bundle.

The price is going to be lower on black Friday or new year, because of the over heating problem for video the price is going to drop more.

I saw online that people were "fixing" the overheating problem by attaching passive heatsinks to the camera.

Do you think the overheating problem will ever be fully fixed or is it something that will probably persist throughout the life of the camera?
