So this is a gaming rig, right? Would this one be better than the HP Spectre that will be for $1199? the 4K one?

Looks like the Spectre has the 8th gen processor and this has the 7th gen. The secondary drive is a nice feature to have though it looks like you'd probably want to upgrade it.

both look pretty nice. I want a new one for software dev so i think both will do the job. I like the touch screen of the Spectre and the option to use Windows Ink but not necessary.

IMO the biggest difference would be MX150 vs GTX1060 so pretty much clear cut depending on your needs. (gaming or not)

curious if the best buy models still have a tn panel. do not buy this from best buy if they are tn panels. ips displays from other vendors are much better
