I went in store today to pick up the 128gb micro sd card deal and check out the mate 9 because it was on sale. I saw the moto g5s & g5 on sale, checked online and same price. I really like the feeling of the moto g5s plus, not as snappy as the mate 9 (understandably) but it felt like a good phone in hand...definitely felt more premium than this price. Didn't see it posted, if it is, my bad nod

OP, just heads up. Check to see if you have either a Cricket, Simple Mobile or Boost Mobile refill card and SIM in your cart. You save $50 on all unlocked phones if you buy those along with it, and when any of those deals are already in your cart, it makes the product pages for all eligible phones appear $50 cheaper than they are when buying them without those promos.

For example: https://www.bestbuy.com/site/offe...7381543654 <- add the SIM and refill card here to the cart with any of those phones, then take away the SIM and refill card, but leave the phone. The price will go back up.

I'm only seeing the G5S 32GB version at $239.

I bought it during Best Buys last sale and would love to get some CC price protection to $190

Just went to their website $299 for Moto 5gS plus 4gb ram and 64gb storage. Amazon is much less expensive.

You have to add the sim and refill card to see the lower price.

That's the G5 Plus not the G5S Plus unfortunately.

is that a big diff on the G5+ vs G5s ? at the fence for a new phone and don't want to pay premium. camera and battery is a big feature for me. I also saw the Honor 6x at BB for $149 (32G) I know the Motos are (64G) so cost more but in terms of battery and camera which would be better ?

Well the G5s plus has a larger screen and better build quality (all metal body), but even though it has a two camera back it is a step down in quality from the G5, as it uses a lessor quality sensor, and the 2nd lens is just for faux depth of field(which it does poorly) and not wide angle.
The G5 camera is ok, the G5s worse.
Both have very good battery life though.

If camera is really important, you are better off getting a last gen top tier phone in the $250-300 range.
