Thank you for sharing.

It may be helpful to mention Fry's in the thread title, especially because this is an in-store only deal and many people do not have a local Fry's store.

Thanks!
Tofu Vic

Same here. My Panny Plasmas are about 8 years old and have survived a lightning strike. I just can't justify getting rid of them for inferior LED tech and anything approaching Plasma quality today is still ridiculously expensive.

They had a huge US market with plasmas before they stopped making them when plasma sales kept dropping significantly

My panny plasma died last year. I was bummed and thought I would hate anything but plasma. Bought a Samsung 6300, the colors and brightness are incredible. Motion is great. Blacks are not as good, but overall I'm happy.

yea,

Its called a loss leader ... see now you are going to feel bad when you can't
match $600 for a 65" TV. Panasonic are nice ...yea I owned a Panasonic Vera
Plasma ...

BTW ... whatever happened to Plasma ... ????

Plasma gives better contrast and deeper blacks than ANYTHING out there 4k 6k .. whatever
Plasma still rules .. best colors best picture ... and guess what they where so good they did
away with them ...

I have this TV, purchased new from frys for $900 last year and it is a GREAT TV. Very underrated, great colors, decent speakers for the price.
