Ryzen 1700, please update the title, thanks!

ASRock X370 Killer SLI/ac AM4 AMD Promontory X370 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 HDMI ATX AMD Motherboard, AMD RYZEN 7 1700 8-Core 3.0 GHz (3.7 GHz Turbo) Processor

$20 MIR

This isn't a bad deal at all, a comparable bundle from Microcenter with the Asus Prime x370 is $410 - $15 MIR, but is local deal and you have to pay sales tax. In TX I don't pay sales tax for Newegg (I know other states may), so this is decent.

Just got that board on sale a few weeks ago for $115 plus $20 rebate and the Ryzen 7 1700 itself has been $260 before. Waiting for it to drop to $250

Is this a good gaming rig. I have Dell XPS 8300 from 2011. Will I need anything besides new memory? Having build a computer in years

You'll need DDR4 ram (Get 2667MHz or faster) and it will be a good system. I just purchased an R7 1700 and Asus B350-F gaming motherboard the other day and paired with my GTX 1060 it's great for gaming.

This looks good to me. If you don't mind using some of your existing parts also you may need to buy a new power supply or an adapter. But for me I have everything except for the ddr4 so I'm good. My other parts are a little bit older but I'm okay with that
