I'll save everyone the trouble and just list out the cons that are usually mentioned in laptop posts:

1. HDD is slow, would be a deal if it was 256gb SSD
2. Onboard graphics
3. 7th Gen i7, not 8th
4. No optical drive
5. 4-cell battery

Did I miss anything?

Acer uses shitty Chi Mei LCD panels. It say's it's 1080P but they look like garbage.

Anyone knows the rreturn policy at Walmart. I am in for one. If the display is bad I'll return it. I don't think I can get a 1080p under 400

I bought an i5, 8gb, touch screen, 1920x1080, backlit keyboard for 400 two years ago! Andrew an i3, 8gb, 720p for 300. Both dells

Where are the deals today?

Jumping all over this with Chase freedom 5% cash back. Comes to $426 for a 15 inch 1080 hood spec laptop. Can always return it if a better deal pops up. Thanks op!!

7th Gen isn't a con and for this price point you shouldn't be expecting a dedicated graphics processor. It's a budget laptop for entertainment/multimedia purposes. If you're a college student who's looking to ball on a budget, this is your pick. There's only so much you can jam in a $450 laptop. With that being said, I agree on the 250gb SSD. We're coming up on 2018 now, there's no excuse not to have an SSD boot drive at the very least.

A better deal that that awful 720p laptop that was making headlines yesterday. But, you should swap HDD with an SSD.

Second, would have been slick had it has touchscreen. But that's not a con for most.
