Trade-in models and % off in the attached image.

Requires monthly payments over 24 months. Adding the phone to the cart with trade-in does NOT reflect the 50% discount. However, a chat with the CSR confirmed that the 50% offer will be applied once they receive the trade-in.

So if someone bought this phone yesterday but haven't traded in their device yet, can they get this promotion?

Well I got the Google version XL2 and they gave me $410 for my Pixel XL 1. Wonder if I can message them and ask for another $65 for my trade in? Never hurts to try right? If not I'll still be happy either way. $65 isn't too much and I have an unlocked bootloader and not locked down to Verizon.

You can just call them or get on their chat and ask. They will give it to you I am sure because you have a time period you can return the phone and stuff. If you got any crap just say well you gonna make me return and rebuy and go through all this hassle.

Think its mostly over reaction. Buy from the google store and buy their protection instead of using Verizon. They extended warranty to 2 years.

So if you have issues they will send another. With the google store they send new phone with a temp hold on card. You send back in box. I had several issues with my 6p and they swapped them out for refurbs. Then for my 3rd time I didn't have problems but they were giving people Pixel 1 XL for 6p and gave me the wrong color last time. So I was able to talk them into sending me a black 128gb Pixel XL 1 but most people were getting these due to low stock of refurb 6p.

They will take good care of you at google.

I didn't want to take chances, so I returned mine. Besides, I also didn't like the colour shifting into blue. I use my phone flat on the table at a different angle to normal view, and half of the screen is blue other is okay. Didn't like that. Also, the screen is P-OLED, which is plastic instead of glass. When you run your finger on webpages, the glass feels hollow (cheap). Didn't like that either.

All in all, for $850, I felt like I was getting a budget $200-$250 phone. Don't get me wrong, phone is fast and fluid, and camera is great, but everyday usage proved to me like a bad design by Google (and LG).

Yeah, google does take care of you. Are they offering this same half-price deal?.

I don't know. Their chat isn't open till 9am EST. also if they didn't give me the $65 I wouldn't be super upset about it because they have given me good customer service in the past and gone out of their way. i did the payment plan and it's through Synchrony credit. the $410 comes off your bill with them. so don't know if that would complicate getting back $65 more. I just sent my trade off Monday night.

I got a Pixel last November on DPP and get a bill credit each month ($10 a month Black Friday deal last year) If I wanted to trade it in, would I have to pay off the rest of the original Pixel? I have 12 months left and I assume I'd lose the bill credit and would have to pay the equivalent $25 a month instead of the $10 also? Thanks

Seems likely the price is going to drop on the Pixel 2. They're very good phones but not good enough to command the premium pricing.
