Only difference between gen 1 and gen 2 is there's no 16dBi version of the Gen2 and it doesn't have the management 2.4 radio. Even these work great for literally miles. Not many miles, but a few at least. They're great to mount to downspouts, sewer vents, existing dish feet, you name it. Easy to aim, and not much of a wind load. I love them for our sub 3-mile shots. Even more so than the new and slightly cheaper nano loco AC, for their ease of mounting.

With these and one of these: https://www.linktechs.net/product...oduct=2251 I knock out installs and AC swaps like a boss.
