costco has the 55" TCL c803 live again for $449 and you can apply the online $25 off $250 purchase bringing it down to $425 before taxes. Ask around for the code or you can buy it eBay for $.99. Also shipping looks to be free, so for me in New York it is $460 delivered. My sister needs a good starter tv and the other Black Friday deals don't seem the greatest. Unless someone has another though. This is for members only. Previous deals like this have expired.

Comes with a 2 year warranty but if you pay with the Costco card you get an additional 2 years.

It's pretty confusing. But I don't think anyone who does this for a living or has seen all three would argue that
P>C>S in picture quality.
S<C<P in cost
C>P>S in sound quality

If you are coming up from cheap TV's, the P is probably plenty of picture quality. If you are coming from Samsung's/Sony's etc, you may consider the P a great low cost TV. If you are looking for the best bang for you buck you might be considering this C series TV.

Just my 2 cents from researching/considering a TCL TV for the last year.

Based on what I am reading, for picture quality P>C>S.

The peak brightness on the P607 gets to 687 nits. It's also registers 0.837% black uniformity. Rtings gave it a 7.6 overall score and 8.5 for video games. The C series only gets to 376 nits and registers 2.544% black uniformity. Both very poor in comparison to the P series. Rtings gave it an overall score of 7.1 and 7.9 for gaming.

Yes this is a very good deal...also, the 55P607 recently dropped to $599 at BestBuy, which is a slightly/much better tv (depending on your needs and/or price point), that is usually much higher price...

Don't forget additional 2 yrs warranty available for $29.99...

I just purchased this TV 2 days ago (at $100 more mind you, but I know I can get a price difference).

I purchased it for a bedroom set and for that reason I'm taking it back. There were 2 things that made me take it back and that was the black uniformity in a dark room (there is a ton of light bleed on this model) and no local dimming. Was watching the TV in bed in the dark and when an ad with a white screen appeared it physically made me shield my eyes because it was too bright.

But outside of those nitpickey things, that is a great price for this TV!

I'm looking at the Vizio M55 as it's replacement!

Why not add $175 and get the FALD P series at Best Buy?

Yeah my sister just bought a place and this would go in a room with decent lighting. It's a starter that would hopefully last them a handful of years. Just trying to help them out. Comparing price points to the BF deals nothing else really stands out for that $400-$500 range.

That's another one I was looking at too. I found a refurbished M55-E0 for $433 so I might jump on that instead of the TCL P Series. Just noodling on what I want. (I don't believe either of these TVs will be any cheaper on Black Friday too)
