It is VESA

Seems fine to me regarding the price/features - note that it's not curved / ultrawide and it only supports the AMD freesync, not the nvidia g-sync, and it's 60hz, but considering that it is 4k that's fine - this is more aimed at office work than gaming, even though it claims 2ms response time that is the one feature I would be slightly skeptical on - also I have never used the monoprice pixel perfect gaurantee, but I would imagine it's fine

The price is in-line with other options, i.e.
$440 LG from Amazon:
https://www.amazon.com/LG-32UD59-...s=32%22+4k

$350 Acer from Newegg (/w coupon, note that it's a VA panel not IPS):

Does this have HDR? IPS Display?

I havent ever used the monoprice either. The only thing that you pointed out(which is why I love you guys) is that it wasnt ultrawide...I want the specs of the monoprice TV but in Ultrawide

your not going to find a 4K ultrawide monitor.. it is IPS (the monoprice one), and if you do get an ultrawide, I would suggest getting a curved one as well

I have used monoprice before, just not for a screen - they are fine as a vendor, plenty of deals from them around here (in general they are my go-to place for cheap cables if I don't need them ASAP, i.e. USB chargers / HDMI / ethernet / etc.)

Important factor.. the ones u linked aren't IPS. I think people may just be skeptical of Monoprice. They aren't known for their monitors.
