I purchased this from Newegg when they had the deal on them months back. It's been really great, does amazing on both wood, tile and carpet. We have a huge golden retriever, and every so often it asks me to clean out it's brush before it finishes it's daily routine... But it's worth the tiny bit of hassle, as the performance is amazing! I tested it against my Dyson V8 (ultimate?)... The Dyson on turbo beats it, but on regular mode not much difference. I really like the ability to set it to different levels of performance, as weekdays we have it run each morning on fill strength (higher noise) but then have it run quite mode for Sunday.
As had been said, I was nervous about the warranty... But at the time I was looking at the $700 competition and figured 1, I bought it from Newegg, so if it totally sucked (or not...pun) I could return it easily... And if it just lasted a year, it was still not a horrible gamble. That said, we've run it everyday without issues... And, I've been doing remodeling so it's seen a BUNCH of garbage that goes beyond the regular call of duty.
It still amazes is that everyday this thing manges to find enough dirt, hair, dust to fill it's entire dust bin! Anyways, you have certainly have to consider your level of risk tolerance, but for me, I would not hesitate in the least to buy again (from Newegg, I've never ordered from gearbest...).

No warranty or real support. Ship back to China on your own dime and maybe after a couple of months you'll get it fixed. Or not.

I bought this vacuum for about $285 shipped back on September 15, 2017. Price hasn't dropped dramatically since. I've made great use of the vacuum rather than waiting for the best deal. So hopefully this would let you make a good decision.

Is this like neato or like roomba. I have both, neato is a great smart vacuum with reliability problems and roomba has a brain of a roach but very few problems.

For a product this expensive I'm also hesitant to buy from this place. Think I'll wait...

Sad to say I am contemplating on whether to cancel my order or not.
I ordered on Nov 2nd with express shipping option (3-5 days arrival time TO USA), and as of right now today (5.23pm CST on 11-9-17), it is still processing and gearbest people in messenger told me the item is backordered - so much for the express shipping!
I probably will have to call my credit card and tell them to EXPRESS cancel the charge.....

Any reviews or comments on the performance/suction of this when compared against Roomba 600 and 800 versions?

I've had this vacuum for about a month. I don't think you can find a robot vacuum with mapping at anywhere near this price. Suction is very good as well. Look at the youtube comparisons yourself
