Sam's Club is having their big November one-day sale this Saturday. Stores open at 7am and the website has free shipping on the items starting at midnight EST.

Several other TVs - some have deal posts (like the Vizio 70"), but others did not. I couldnt find a post for this one or the 50" version of this for $348, but both seem pretty solid based on current prices: Best Buy @ $529.99 for the 55" and $469.99 for the 50". Savings of $130 and $120 seem pretty slick to me Smilie

Apparently, it doesnt have a TV tuner, but that is fine for me because I have DirecTV and use an HDMI cord.

Wow it looks like it compares pretty well. Like the P607 this has HDR10 support, full array LEDs and lighting zones. The only real difference is the P607 has 72 lighting zones and this has 12. I was set on buying the TCL but I think I'm going to jump on this

EDIT: Ok maybe I wont...the rating at rtings.com isn't great. Especially for gaming which is what I'm going to use this for.

EDIT 2: Ok I'm slow. That was last years model. This deal is on this years model which has much better reviews:

Yes, very slick! Not sure it is worth a thumbs down on this deal, though. Still seems like the best deal currently available on this model.

Bought this same model maybe 6 months ago.
Bought it for $550 on dell.com. got a $200 prepaid dell card I used. Plus $100 slickdeal rebate that I got. And sams club had this model advertised for $398 couple weeks after purchase so I filed cc price protection for another 150 refund by Check. Now that was slick
550-200-100-150=100!

Good deal on the budget TV. Just wish Samsclub had a deal on the Vizio P series for this one day sale.

How does this compare to the TCL p607? Is the TCL worth the extra $200 bucks? I'm mostly into gaming and tv shows.

Thanks!

Nvm I found out it's 120hz and 180hz clear action.

Overall, the TCL is much better than this. The TCL has real HDR with both HDR10 and DolbyVision with a WCG. This is none of that. Whether that is worth an extra 200 is up to you.

Oh really I must have been looking at wrong thing. Is there any good 120hz 4ks on Black Friday?

Hmm, yea it seems to be their low end unit. I'm a console gamer too. Doesn't look like we can go wrong with the TCL. Too bad it never goes on sale

Vizios website shows that it has HDR10, but not Dolby Vision. Still seems solid for $400 imho.
