Can anyone without a previous 7-11 app sign-in confirm if new sign-ups get 800 pts as well?

Thanks for confirming.

New signups usually get a free beverage to start as well on the 6 out of 7th drink promo. If you didn't, sometimes, what will happen is if you let the app sit for a few days, you might get an email giving you a free drink to get you started.

If you do get it combined, this would make a free beverage and donut/brownie/cookie/chip - snack deal just for signing up.

Wow that was easy. So I can just use my 'phone number associated with your account' to get the reward. That's good.

Now do you get all those items for free or can one only choose one of the items for free?

Unfortunately no. Per the app (can't find it on the website currently)...

Points will not be accumulated on purchases of the following products/services: fuel, age-restricted items (such as cigarettes, tobacco, lottery tickets and alcohol), financial services, prepaid card products, money orders, gift cards, phone cards, stamps, Post Office stamps and merchandise, event tickets, bus tickets and passes, charitable donations, gift with purchases or as may be excluded in a particular promotions, and any other items specified as exclusions from time to time (collectively, the "Excluded Items").

Not sure why you all having problems reading the webpage or my OP. It clearly says (right below the Download on the App Store and right above Rack up your points using) and copy and pasted in my original post.

How you earn

You'll earn 25 7Rewards points for every qualifying dollar you spend in-store.*

*Points exclude services, fuel, and age-restricted items including tobacco, lottery, and alcohol.

I'll bold it this time to help you focus on that one line

Whoops, missed the OP! I'm automatically logged into the website and it doesn't show the terms anywhere I could find and the email only listed those few exclusions. I almost picked up a few gift cards trying to game the system before I looked at "director's cut" of exclusions in the app.

One thing I like about this new system is that it doesn't require a data connection at the time of redemption. You can load your freebie while still on WiFi, then redeem at your leisure by just showing your barcode. Some of my devices don't have data so I'd have to find 7-Elevens close to WiFi spots or whip out a phone that does have data and set up a hotspot. Then there was that 15 minute countdown to redeem. I know that's plenty of time, but it was still stressful watching the clock tick down!
